Huracan Cafe — an Italian Restaurant and Wedding Venue located in the heart of Bavaro Beach. You might have seen many pictures from Punta Cana with a Pirate Ship in the background (Ocean Adventure Caribbean Pirates Excursion). This area has a lot of locations for amazing pictures. 

Huracan Cafe is a one floor restaurant made in traditional Dominican style. It is an open air place with a thatched roof with a spectacular ocean view. Natalia Roldan and her team will set up anything you want for a gorgeous wedding and the only thing left for you is to chill. 

Please, note that if your wedding day is on Sunday this place will be so hard to call this beach private. Bavaro beach is the only public beach in the area and all the locals love to get together on their only day off.

• Amazing Barcelo Bavaro Beach wedding (Luis and Laura).

Jellyfish Restaurant — is a beach club and a restaurant located close to Lopesan Hotel and Resort Bavaro at Bavaro beach. It has a spacious beach area and two floor restaurant made of indigenous materials in traditional Dominican Republic style: palm wood, thatched roof and seashells. I consider this area more private, because it is situated close to the hotels and it’s harder to get there for locals. Also, due to the fact that the area of the restaurant and the territory is bigger there is enough space for anything: a huge outside scene for the crazy hour, fire show or a party, cozy terraces. I love the lighting, landscape and the cuisine there. Of course, with the picture perfect ocean view.

Eventually, the majority of the weddings that I’ve had in my portfolio were made here. I have a rite of having a Cuba Libre there by the ocean after a wedding observing stars and the moon.

• Watch the beautiful wedding in the Jellyfish Restaurant (Sadaf and Navid).

Kukua Beach Club & Restaurant is another wedding venue in Punta Cana. It is located in Arena Gorda Beach, between Hotel Riu Palace Punta Cana and Bahia Principe Luxury, which is 15 minutes away from Bavaro Beach. Because there is no access to the beach for locals the beach is never crowded and Kukua staff watch carefully so that people from the hotels don’t disturb you during the ceremony. You can feel the difference: the ocean is wilder, the sand is softer and more yellow here.

The territory of this Beach Club is not that big, BUT it is very well-organized. First, it has it all: a beach area, a restaurant, an outside terrace, preparation room for a bridal party (up to 20 persons), a pool (how about crazy jumping during the party?)

Mayte Marie is a very famous wedding planner here that will take care of your day. She has her unique style and I’m pretty sure you’ve seen a lot of her dreamy work pics on Pinterest. Thousands of reviews speak for her amazing attitude and talent.

• Beautiful Kukua Beach wedding.

Pearl Beach Club. Located in Cabeza de Toro Beach, between Natura Park Beach Eco Resort and Spa and Catalonia Royal Bavaro, Pearl Beach Club offers a private atmosphere made of tropical glamour, 15 minutes away from Punta Cana International Airport.

 It is the most suitable place for massive events (up to 400 pax) with a huge private area: infinity pools, several preparation rooms, outside event area and, of course, a beach, where it’s hard to get for locals. 

This place is very famous for open-air festivals and music events and it has a fully equipped scene, so don’t even doubt about having a live band. If you have another wedding venue booked, I definitely recommend to come here with your beloved ones at least to chill all day long in a bikini with floating flamingos and Pina Coladas!
